Vision Board

Creating a vision board, as fall arrives, can be a wonderful way to set new intentions, look at the past few months and capture the essence of the coming season. By combining images, words, and symbols that resonate with you, you’re creating a visual representation of your goals, insights, and desires for the upcoming months. September hosts a range of holidays and cultural celebrations that center around new beginnings and fresh starts. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, encourages reflection and renewal. Ganesh Chaturthi, celebrated in Hinduism, honors the God of wisdom and new beginnings, Lord Ganesha. Japanese Shūbun no Hi, or Autumnal Equinox Day, is a Japanese holiday to pay respects to ancestors and acknowledge seasonal change. These holidays offer meaningful ways to embrace transformation and open to the purest of intentions for our creating this vision board.

The Process

After setting an intention, there will be a 10-15 minute meditation where you will be asked to delve into questions related to clarity, inspiration, focus, abundance, alignment, and more.  These questions will provide the foundation for your creative process, enabling you to express your aspirations and desires visually.

Setting an Intention

An intention when working on a vision board refers to the focused and purposeful mindset you bring to the process. It is the underlying motivation that guides your creation. Setting an intention helps you align your thoughts, energy, and actions with what you want to manifest in your life or business.

Time for Creativity

There are countless media options available for creating vision boards. Participants can choose to create a physical collage using images, words, and printed materials. Another option is to design a diagram on poster board or create a digital collage. Additionally, vision boards can be made using platforms like Pinterest, PowerPoint, sticky notes, or even through social media collages. Ample time will be provided to formulate ideas and begin working on your vision board.

Sharing & Closing Intention

Sharing in the group creates an opportunity to celebrate each other’s aspirations and achievements, and to offer encouragement and feedback.  Setting a closing intention helps align participants’ energy and intention with their vision boards. It reinforces their commitment and determination towards their goals, and encourages them to carry the momentum from the workshop into their ongoing journey.
